Gearbox is an independent educational platform.

We are not an online store, a manufacturer, or a marketplace.

We do not create content to sell products.

Instead, we curate educational resources, rider stories, and gear information that we believe can genuinely help riders make better decisions.

Every piece of content featured on Gearbox should answer one simple question: "Will this help a rider become better informed?" If the answer is yes, it may deserve a place on Gearbox.

The motorcycle community is filled with knowledgeable creators who produce valuable educational content. Many riders never discover these resources because they are scattered across different platforms. Gearbox helps bridge that gap by highlighting educational videos, tutorials, reviews, and discussions that provide practical value to riders.

Our goal is not to replace the original creator. Our goal is simply to help riders discover them.

Whenever possible, we encourage users to visit and support the original creator on the platform where the content was published.

Every piece of featured content is selected manually. We do not automatically scrape or aggregate videos.

When evaluating content, we consider factors such as:

— Educational value

— Accuracy and clarity

— Rider safety

— Practical usefulness

— Beginner friendliness

— Community relevance

— Overall quality

Popularity alone is not a deciding factor.

Likewise, a creator's subscriber count or follower count does not determine whether their work is featured. Our priority is the value the content provides to riders.

Respecting creators is a core principle of Gearbox.

Whenever we feature creator content, we aim to clearly display the creator name, original platform, original source link, and video title (where appropriate).

We want riders to know exactly who created the original work. If you notice incorrect attribution or missing information, please let us know so we can correct it promptly.

Creators retain full ownership of their original content.

Featuring a video or linking to it on Gearbox does not transfer ownership or imply that Gearbox has created or owns that content.

All copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property remain with their respective owners.

Gearbox claims ownership only over its own original content, including:

— Original written articles

— Editorial summaries

— Website design

— Branding

— Logos

— Original illustrations and graphics

— Original rider stories submitted directly to Gearbox (unless otherwise agreed)

Whenever possible, Gearbox features content using the original platform's embedding functionality or links directly to the original source.

We do not intend to republish, redistribute, or misrepresent creator content as our own.

Embedded videos continue to be governed by the policies and terms of the platform on which they were originally published.

Gearbox operates independently.

Content is selected based on educational value, not because a creator, brand, or manufacturer has paid for placement.

Being featured on Gearbox should not be interpreted as an endorsement of a creator, product, or brand.

Likewise, the absence of a creator or brand should not be interpreted as criticism.

Our editorial decisions remain independent.

Gearbox may feature manufacturers, riding gear companies, helmet brands, or other businesses that are relevant to motorcycle riders.

Brand listings are intended to help riders discover products and companies, not to rank or certify them.

Unless explicitly disclosed, featured brands have not paid for inclusion, brand placement does not imply endorsement, and inclusion should not be interpreted as a recommendation to purchase.

We encourage riders to conduct their own research before making purchasing decisions.

As Gearbox grows, we may collaborate with brands, creators, or partners.

If any content has been sponsored, paid for, or created as part of a commercial partnership, it will be clearly identified.

Transparency is essential to us. We will never intentionally present sponsored content as independent editorial content.

In the future, Gearbox may include affiliate links to products or retailers.

Where affiliate relationships exist, they will be disclosed clearly.

Affiliate relationships will never influence our commitment to providing honest educational resources.

Where appropriate, we may correct attribution, update information, remove featured content, remove links, or remove embedded media.

Our goal is always to work collaboratively and respectfully with creators.

Gearbox welcomes suggestions from riders.

You may recommend educational videos, helpful creators, useful articles, rider stories, learning resources, corrections, or new brands to feature.

All suggested content is reviewed according to our editorial standards.

Gearbox exists because of the motorcycle community.

We believe creators, riders, educators, reviewers, photographers, journalists, and manufacturers all contribute to making riding safer and more enjoyable.

We aim to highlight that work with fairness, transparency, and proper credit.
